Your privacy is critically important to us. The ATLAS app is designed to help you track your fitness journey securely. While your data is accessible on your device for offline use, we utilize secure cloud infrastructure to back up your data and allow you to synchronize your progress across multiple devices.
We collect information to provide a seamless and synchronized experience.
a) Account Information (Firebase Authentication) To create an account and synchronize your data, we collect authentication details. Depending on how you sign up, this may include:
Email Address: Used to identify your account and allow you to log in.
User ID: A unique identifier assigned to your account to link your data to you.
b) Fitness and Usage Data (Firestore & Storage) When you are logged in, the following data is collected and stored in our secure cloud database (Google Cloud Firestore and Firebase Storage) to ensure it is backed up and accessible across your devices:
Workout History: Records of completed sessions, dates, durations, and exercises.
Goals: Target weights, reps, or durations you have set.
Activity Data: Workout templates, custom exercises, and skill progression.
Media/Files: If you upload images or files (e.g., progress photos), these are stored in our secure cloud storage.
c) Information Collected Automatically We may collect basic, non-personal diagnostic information, such as app version and crash logs, solely for functionality and support purposes.
The information collected is used exclusively to provide and improve the App’s features:
User Authentication: To verify your identity and ensure only you access your data.
Data Synchronization & Backup: To save your workout history, goals, and templates to the cloud, ensuring your data is not lost if you change or lose your device.
Core Functionality: To display your statistics, charts, and progress.
Device Features: To set local notifications for rest timers and reminders.
Where Your Data is Stored: We utilize Google Firebase (a service provided by Google) as our backend infrastructure.
Authentication: Managed via Firebase Authentication.
Database: Your workout data is stored in Cloud Firestore.
File Storage: Media or large files are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage.
Security Measures: We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Your data is encrypted in transit (while moving between your device and the server) and at rest (while stored on Google’s servers). However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
We use trusted third-party services to provide specific functionality.

RevenueCat: To manage “Pro” subscriptions. We do not process or store your payment information. RevenueCat processes subscription status to validate your Pro entitlement. You can view their privacy policy here: RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
The App may request the following permissions:
Notifications: For rest timers and workout reminders.
Calendar Access: To add scheduled workouts to your device’s calendar.
Billing: To process in-app purchases via Apple or Google.
Internet/Network: Required to sync your data with the cloud database.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Your Rights: You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. You can perform this action directly within the App settings under “Delete Account.” Upon deletion, your authentication credentials and all data stored in Firestore/Storage linked to your User ID will be permanently removed from our servers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
